Islamic Relief Ireland is seeking a qualified, reliable and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will support the effective day-to-day management of the organisation’s financial records and accounting processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records * Processing income, expenditure, invoices and payments * Completing bank and account reconciliations * Supporting the preparation of monthly financial reports * Assisting with audit preparation and financial documentation * Using Sage Accounting software to record and manage transactions * Ensuring financial information is properly filed and maintained * Carrying out other finance-related duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
* A relevant qualification in finance, accounting or bookkeeping * Previous experience working in an accounts or finance role * Good working knowledge of Sage Accounting software * Strong Microsoft Excel skills * Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail * Good organisational and time-management skills * The ability to work independently and meet deadlines * A commitment to confidentiality, integrity and accountability
